We offer one thing, and we do it properly: home boarding in our own house — no kennels, no cages, no isolation.
Never alone

At Paw Power we aim to make your dog's stay an adventure, so that your absence isn't a time of sadness for them.
We're one of the few boarding homes to offer genuinely exclusive boarding — your dog receives our undivided attention throughout their stay. We only ever take a maximum of three dogs from the same home at any one time, and they live with us in our home as our temporary pets while you're away.
As we both work from home, you can be sure your dog is with at least one of us from the second you drop them off to the moment you collect them. Each dog gets a minimum of two walks per day and limitless hugs and cuddles from both of us. They'll be on holiday too.
And for complete peace of mind: we're DBS checked, licensed by Barnsley Council and fully insured.

The only guest
One household at a time — up to three dogs from the same home. No strangers, no pack of unfamiliar dogs.
Never left alone
Both of us work from home, so there's always someone with your dog — drop-off to collection.
Two walks a day
A minimum of two walks daily, plus all the fuss, play and cuddles a dog on holiday could want.
A real home
The sofa, the garden, the routine of family life — never a kennel, a cage or a concrete run.
Requirements for a stay
A few things we need before your dog arrives.
Some of these form part of our insurance and licence agreements, so we ask you to understand that they're non-negotiable. They're also there for the wellbeing of every dog that stays with us.
- Up to date vaccinations. Proof is required before the date of the stay — original veterinary documentation, not photocopies.
- Spayed or neutered. We do not take intact dogs under any circumstances.
- Fully house-trained. Accidents happen occasionally and that's fine — but where a dog shows clear signs of incontinence, we'll bill for professional cleaning of any affected rooms and upholstery.
- Healthy and treated. No infectious conditions that could put other dogs at risk, and up to date with worm and flea treatments.
- Collected on time. Any dog not collected at the agreed time will be re-homed in kennels at the owner's expense.
- Disclosure form completed. Our disclosure form must be completed and returned before the day of arrival — we can't board your dog without it.

Without a completed form we're unable to go ahead with any boarding arrangement, so it's always the best place to start.
